We previously reported that autoantibody to ACE2 was frequently detected in patients of SLE patients,
and autoantibody inhibited the activity of angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2)
(Takahashi et al., Arthritis Res Ther. 2010;12: R85)。
Here, we found that a reported ACE2 activator（XNT）ameliorated the inhibitory activity of the autoantibody
to ACE2.
IgG of the patients inhibited ACE2 activity
positive rate of inhibition of ACE2 activity by IgG
with vasculopathy; 10 of 13 patients ⇒ 76.9%
w/o vasculopathy; 3 of 11 patients ⇒ 27.3%
XNT ameliorated an inhibitory activity of the patients IgG
